simply sending emails to a bunch of people so  sending bulk emails to specific people and your  goal is simply to get traffic to your website or  your blog or increase your sales or simply promote  anything that's it super easy now when it comes to  sending emails and email marketing we have mainly  

three types of email marketers you have  to know which one you are number one  are those people who send bulk emails over  the internet promoting affiliate links, cpa,  inks and so on those are bulk mailers  and considered as "spammers" spammers  number two we have cold email marketing or  called email marketers here we send emails  

to people who are not our subscribers but we are  not spamming them so it's somehow different than  bulk mailing the first type we are not  promoting affiliate links and so on directly  we are sending targeted emails to specific people  to open a relation or conversation with them so

every new update anyway the third type which is  our main goal here in this video is traditional  email marketing or simply email marketing so how  it works? how email marketing works? what are the  steps to be a successful email marketer? let's  see together in short we have three main steps  number one which i think it's so obvious is to  build your email list is to have a list of emails  

to send messages to and what you have to know  that those emails those people must be targeted  of course you don't want to send emails promoting  fitness products to people who are investing in  bitcoin or cryptocurrency in other words you  have to send to people who are interested in  your products in your services and in your content  it's obvious step number two is simply to send  

emails is to set up the system or the service  the email marketing service and write down your  email templates whatever and start sending your  email marketing campaigns step number two to yes  then we have step number three which is also  very important is to analyse your campaigns  is to study what's happening how many people are  opening your emails the open rate how many people  are clicking how many people are purchasing your  products conversion rates and so on in this way  

you can understand what's working for you what's  not working and how to improve your campaigns  i know each of these steps requires maybe a  full course how to build email lists how to  set up campaigns how to write the perfect emails  how to analyze the campaigns and tests and so on  but now in this small course in this mini course  let's get the concepts and see how things work  in general so later on when you want to  follow up with me in advanced tutorials  

you must have the concepts the basics and  this is what i'm showing you in this small  course let's go now somehow practically and see  each step in action and how i apply these steps  in my email marketing system in my  website how do i build email list?  how i send emails? and how i analyze my emails  for the upcoming campaigns? let's go to my screen

landing page this also opt-in box if you want to  get emails and capture emails simply i am using a  plugin in my wordpress website because if you are  following me you know my website is a wordpress  based website if i go down to my back-end please  no one hack my website (please don't D:) 

i want  to show you this only for information so let's go  back to my back end to my wordpress dashboard in  my website to show you the plugin i am using okay  so here we are you can see i'm using this plugin  

master pop-ups if you open it you see here you  can create pop-ups and opt-in forms and integrate  anywhere in your website so if you open like  this one as an example just to show you this fast  so here you can create whatever pop-up you want  whatever form you want you can add email address,  names, add data, set options, when display, where  display, so in my opinion it's one of the best  plugins for wordpress to create pop-ups and  capture emails and so on and what's nice also  that this plugin integrates with almost all email  marketing services you can see in the settings we  have all these email marketing services now in my  case i am using convertkit you can see my account  

Connect to convertkit also i'm using sendinblue  for my other system and mautic for my cold email  system don't worry about now we are going to cover  only now in this video this course convertkit  so you can see i'm connecting convertkit  with my wordpress website with this plugin  

so i can capture emails so whenever someone enters  his email or her email i will capture it here in  convertkit let's log into my convertkit dashboard  to show you this very nice so here is my main  dashboard my subscribers list you can see here's  my subscribers i have today like 4,400 subscribers  

now you may be wondering it's not that big  number i mentioned before my other videos that  every month i clean my email list and keep  only active users so if you are in my list  and you want to stay please be active you can  see how this helped me increase my open rate  to 42%! 11% click rate this is awesome really  awesome so this is mainly how i collect emails 

but in general you have to know something very  important usually you want when you want to build  email list i talked about this also in my  other case studies how i built my email list  you have to use a lead magnet what is a lead  magnet? it is something you give to someone  and in exchange you will get his email address as  an example when i started this video i told you

In my website i used master pop-ups to build this  now you may ask me i am a beginner i don't have  an ebook or something to give small tip for you  you can go to websites where you can download  free ebooks with licensing so it can distribute  for free you have the right distribute it's called  plr sites let's say plr ebooks as an example and  you can go to website like idplr.com or free plr  

Downloads you have a lot of websites just search  for plr websites or free pll websites and you'll  find a lot of websites like this here you can see  free products free ebooks you can go and download  any ebook you want any ebook you can see a lot of  guides here tutorials ebooks you can download them  and i prefer you edit them and do your own  styling your own touches on the ebook and then

Subscribers so now i built my email list i have  a list of targeted emails who are interested in  email marketing and digital marketing and  my stuff and my content so the second step  is to send a bulk campaign a bulk email marketing  campaign or an email marketing campaign anyway

so we have two subject lines and the email  service like convertkit will send a percentage  of emails with the first subject line and the  second percentage of the second subject line and  

It will see the one that worked better for you and  then will send the rest of the campaign with the  winning subject line this is also very important  to test different subject lines when you want to  send an email what is the subject line? if you go  here to my gmail account just for beginners i'm  

talking about the email heading so as an example  when you receive when you receive an email in your  gmail account you can see this text here this is  the subject line you can see this one here this  

one here all these are subject lines when you open  it oh i got a $10 supporter on patreon very nice  anyway so when you open this we can see this is  here subject line this is very important for open  rates because whenever someone receives an email  the first thing he will see is the subject line  

If he was attracted to the subject line he would  click to open the email and read it and then if  the email attracts him he will click on the  button and you will increase the click rate  so the subject line is very important this is why  you have to test different subject lines and see  which is working for you for your business so  this is the second step is sending your emails  and testing different subject lines number three  is analyzing the results simply analyzing the  results is checking the open rates click rate the  conversion rates later how much if you are buying  

If you are selling something and then you will  tweak your copies tweak your subject lines do  something for your emails to get better open rates  maybe you can analyze your email list and see  that a lot of them as an example here i have  none active user i have 500 non-active users  

I have to delete them so always keep your email  list fresh and active to get high open rates and  high click rates like these percentages also a  very good practice is to validate your emails  to always check if your emails are active  or simply valid or not how you can use paid
